➡️ How do I connect my mobile hard drive to use Vimox?

1. Connect Drive: Plug your mobile hard drive into your iPhone. You may need a suitable adapter (e.g., Lightning to USB or a USB-C hub).
2. Open Vimox: Launch the Vimox app.
3. Tap Add: Tap the "Add" button located in the upper right corner.
4. Select Drive: From the window that appears, choose your mobile hard drive.
5. Choose Library: Navigate to and select the folder containing your photo library on the hard drive.

➡️ What types of drives and file systems does Vimox support?

Vimox relies on the native support of iOS/iPadOS. Generally, this means:

• Supported Formats: APFS, HFS+ (Mac OS Extended), FAT32, and exFAT. For the best compatibility across devices, we highly recommend using exFAT.
• Unsupported Formats: iOS/iPadOS does not natively support writing to NTFS (the default for Windows). It may be read-only or not recognized at all. We suggest reformatting the drive to exFAT.
• Supported Drives: Most mobile hard drives (HDDs), solid-state drives (SSDs), and flash drives are supported, provided they do not require excessive power.
